City of Fayette | Mayor's Message
Welcome to Fayette, Alabama's official city website!
We've spent years preparing for your visit (nearly 180 to
be exact). If you are visiting our city strictly via the World
Wide Web then we'd like to invite you to spend time looking
over our city history and information. If you're planning
a trip to Fayette we'd like to make sure you visit Fayette's
attractions and restaurants during your stay, and plan to
attend our special festivals - like Balloon Blast - when you
are in our city.
Fayette's downtown is filled with local flavor. Right off
of the main street you'll find our city park where you can
spend time with family, friends, toss a frisbee with your
pet or watch your children play in our children's playground.
The business district is awaiting just down the road with
merchandise to tempt and friendly shop owners to greet you.
Although we are a small community we are a community full
of pride. Enjoy our city, visit our neighborhoods and talk
to our people. We'll be happy to show you around our town,
so come and visit us soon!
